Getting used to computers, scanners, digital cameras and drawing tablets | ||
|
Drawing tabletsDrawing tablets (sometimes called Graphics tablets or digitizing tablets) allow you to draw directly onto the computer screen. They are not as accurate as a pencil, and it requires some skill to use them well, but they are very good for making changes to existing drawings, and far superior to using a mouse. You can fix pegbars to a drawing tablet and trace over a drawing. In this way a sequence of ready made drawings can be transferred to the computer. Drawing tablets come in a range of sizes, but animators tend to prefer the small A5 size. |
